Why Work at Mapware

At Mapware, you’ll work at the intersection of aerial platforms, geospatial intelligence, and real‑world problem solving. Our team is focused on building technology that turns drone and aircraft imagery into actionable insights—powering decisions for infrastructure, utilities, and critical mapping applications.

We operate as a small, highly focused team where each person has a direct impact on both product direction and customer success. Whether you’re developing software, designing systems, or supporting operations, your work contributes to solutions used in real environments—not just concepts on paper.

This is an opportunity to help shape early‑stage products in a fast‑moving space. You won’t be working on incremental changes—you’ll be helping define how aerial data is captured, processed, and delivered at scale. We value practical thinking, technical depth, and people who want to build things that matter.

If you’re interested in working on challenging problems in geospatial technology and want to see your work used in the field, Mapware offers a place to do exactly that.

  • Independently assemble mechanical products and prototypes with precision.
  • Interpret and implement wiring and cabling diagrams for prototype and production systems.
  • Configure software systems and perform initial testing prior to quality control handoff.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate electrical systems at the component, subsystem, and full-system levels.
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues using standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Ensure designs meet reliability, safety, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve system-level and component-level issues.
  • Source components and materials based on technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Support rapid development cycles and time-sensitive logistics to ensure project milestones are met.
